Clarence B. Silverthorne passed away peacefully on April 7th at home. He was born Dec. 18, 1928 in Ironton, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents and four sisters. He served in the Air Force and received honorable discharge in 1950. He worked at Edgewood Arsenal in Edgewood, MD as a professional engineer for 33 years. He was married 52 years to Dolores Rose Smith Silverthorne. He is survived by his beloved wife, son, Larry and wife Kathy of Joppa, MD, and daughter, Kim and husband Mark Lawton of Cary, NC; grandchildren Amber, Sarah, Jennifer, April, Victoria, and Nicole.
