NEA's Read Across America is an annual reading motivation and awareness program that calls for every child in every community to celebrate reading on March 2 - 5, the birthday of beloved children's author Dr. Seuss.

McGee’s Crossroads Elementary will hosted district leaders in celebration of Read Across America! Special guest readers were Johnston County Schools Superintendent Dr. Ed Croom, Chief Operations Officer Patrick Jacobs, and Debbie Woodruff,Executive Director of Secondary Education

and Innovative Practices and School Improvement.
